Baseball Recap: Camden County Takes a Loss

Camden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Tift County Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-5 last Wednesday.

Camden County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fabian Laboy, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Tift County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tift County beat Camden County by a score of 11-0 later that day.
