Basketball Recap: Central Dauphin Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Central Dauphin extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Olivia Green. The Central Dauphin Rams claimed a resounding 45-13 victory over the Central Dauphin East Panthers thanks in part to Green, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. Green is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Mikayla Matincheck, who posted nine points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. That's the most blocks she has posted since back in January.

Central Dauphin's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Central Dauphin East, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Central Dauphin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-43 victory against Carlisle on the 12th. As for Central Dauphin East, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Altoona at 6:30 p.m.
