Softball Recap: Morrison's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Morrison came out on top against Meeker on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run fourth inning. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 15-1 win. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The victory was the third in a row for Morrison, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average this season. As for Meeker, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Morrison is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Wyandotte at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Meeker, they will square off against Woodland at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
