Soccer Recap: Deerfield-Windsor Takes a Loss

Deerfield-Windsor had taken Brookwood down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. Deerfield-Windsor lost 4-0 to Brookwood. While losing is never fun, Deerfield-Windsor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 371st, while Brookwood are ranked 103rd).

Deerfield-Windsor's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Brookwood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Deerfield-Windsor and Brookwood will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Deerfield-Windsor sees the pitch they'll take on Westover at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Brookwood, their break will end when they face Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on April 11.
