Softball Recap: Sioux Center's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Gehlen Catholic on Saturday, Sioux Center came back down to earth. The Warriors lost 14-2 to the Storm Lake Tornadoes on Saturday. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sioux Center's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Storm Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Sioux Center has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 loss against MOC-Floyd Valley on the 23rd. As for Storm Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Spencer on the 23rd.
