Orthopaedic is 9-1 against USC-MAE since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vipers will head out to challenge the Trojans at 3:30 p.m. Orthopaedic will be strutting in after a victory while USC-MAE will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Orthopaedic made easy work of Annenberg and carried off a 3-0 win.

Orthopaedic didn't let Annenberg take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 25-23.

Meanwhile, USC-MAE was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against Annenberg, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-14.

Orthopaedic is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for USC-MAE, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything went Orthopaedic's way against USC-MAE in their previous meeting back in September, as Orthopaedic made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vipers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
