Baseball Recap: Chrisman Takes a Loss

Chrisman and Summit Christian Academy pushed the score to 20-3 the last time they played Summit Christian Academy, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Bears fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bears have suffered since April 22nd.

Jackson Dillard was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Chrisman dropped their record down to 9-20 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Summit Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Chrisman nor Summit Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
