Calleigh Sundberg posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Sundberg and Centura are on the road again on Saturday to play Milford at 10:00 a.m. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Fairbury, so the Centurions will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
