Fresno is 6-1 against Mendota since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:30 p.m. Fresno will be strutting in after a win while Mendota will be coming in after a defeat.

Fresno's tournament run continued when they took on Strathmore two weeks ago. Fresno came out on top against Strathmore by a score of 42-29.

Meanwhile, Mendota unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak last Saturday. They fell to Torres 36-32. While the Aztecs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Toros 11-7 in the first quarter.

Fresno has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Mendota, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.

Fresno didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mendota in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 33-29 victory. Does Fresno have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mendota turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
