After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cartersville, Woodland was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hiram Hornets with a sharp 14-4 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

With the victory, Woodland broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-10. As for Hiram, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Woodland will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hiram: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
