Basketball Recap: Gilroy Takes a Loss

Gilroy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Live Oak Acorns and fell 45-17. The Mustangs were probably out for revenge after losing 48-32 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gilroy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Live Oak, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Gilroy will face off against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Live Oak, they will take on Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
