ESAT hadn't done well against Academia Avance recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The ESAT Grizzlies came out on top against the Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares by a score of 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Guerreros Jaguares last Monday, they had to take a 7-1 defeat.

ESAT hit Academia Avance with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aylin Gallardo (2), Emily Martinez, and Natalie Gaxiola.

The victory made it two in a row for ESAT and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Academia Avance, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ESAT will challenge Alliance Bloomfield at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Alliance Bloomfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something ESAT surely won't give up without a fight. As for Academia Avance, they will take on CALS Early College at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Academia Avance is facing CALS Early College at the right time seeing as CALS Early College is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
