Soccer Recap: Homestead Has No Trouble Against Gunn

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Homestead brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the Gunn Titans with a sharp 9-0 victory on Friday. Saara Lahtela was a massive factor in the win as she booted in six goals all by herself.

The win snapped Homestead's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5-4 record. As for Gunn, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6-2.

Homestead will square off against Los Altos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gunn, they will take on Santa Clara at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
