Baseball Recap: Druid Hills Takes a Loss

Druid Hills lost against Westminster back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Druid Hills took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westminster.

Druid Hills got a good showing from Simeon Collums, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Chaz Glover made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double. Another player making a difference was Ryder Sibly, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Druid Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Westminster, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Coming up, Druid Hills will take on Clarkston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Druid Hills is facing Clarkston at the right time seeing as Clarkston is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Westminster, they are taking a road trip to square off against Blessed Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
