The Dublin Fighting Irish will venture away from home to square off against the Southwest Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dublin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Dublin barely beat East Laurens the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Dublin never let East Laurens get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

Tal Duke was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. CJ Stubbs was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Southwest lost 12-5 to Griffin on Wednesday.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dublin, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Dublin took their win against Southwest when the teams last played back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 12-4. Does Dublin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southwest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
