Soccer Recap: Callaway Has No Trouble Against Rutland

Callaway kept a clean sheet against Rutland on Monday. Everything went their way against the Rutland Hurricanes as they made off with an 8-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cavaliers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Callaway has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those six matchups. Rutland is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Callaway wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 9-5 win against Westside on the 11th. As for Rutland, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Morgan County on the 11th.
