Jefferson entered their tilt with Cherokee Bluff on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bears. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Bears back in August, they had to take a 9-1 defeat.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Cherokee Bluff, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will challenge Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cherokee Bluff, they will head out to face off against East Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.38 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
