Soccer Recap: Pensacola Catholic's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine Forest, Pensacola Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Pensacola Tigers onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in November of 2024.

Pensacola Catholic moved to 6-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Pensacola, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Pensacola Catholic and Pensacola could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Pensacola Catholic (ranked 294th) will meet West Florida (ranked 69th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Pensacola (ranked 549th) will meet Booker T. Washington (ranked first) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
