Baseball Game Preview: Casey-Westfield Warriors vs. Neoga Indians

The Casey-Westfield Warriors will face off against the Neoga Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Casey-Westfield didn't have quite enough to beat Robinson and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Neoga came up short against Cumberland on Thursday, falling 10-3.

Neoga got a good showing from Kanen White, who struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Neoga saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Fearday, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Neoga's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Casey-Westfield, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Casey-Westfield couldn't quite get it done against Neoga when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-2. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
