Soccer Recap: Orestimba Takes a Loss

Orestimba pushed their score to one the last time they played Ripon, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Orestimba Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripon Indians. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Orestimba's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Ripon, they pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orestimba will venture away from home to face off against Hilmar at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hilmar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Ripon, they will head out to take on Ripon Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Ripon also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.3 goals per game.
