Softball Game Preview: Madison County Red Raiders vs. Walnut Grove Warriors

Madison County is 2-8 against Walnut Grove since August of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Red Raiders will face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Madison County's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Loganville on Tuesday. Considering the last time the Red Raiders couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Walnut Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Flowery Branch with a sharp 9-1 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Madison County's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Walnut Grove, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
