Soccer Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Pierce lost against Winters back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pierce Bears came up short against the Winters Warriors, falling 9-1. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Adelyn Flores, who's now up to ten this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Pierce and nudges their season record down to 7-8. As for Winters, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Pierce has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Colusa on the 10th. As for Winters, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Willows on the 11th.
