Riverdale Ridge put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Grand Junction Tigers a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Ravens, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Peyton Saenz was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jaeanna Sandoval, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Riverdale Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They are a perfect 15-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Riverdale Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Grand Junction, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-5.

Riverdale Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Junction, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Legacy on the 18th.
