Soccer Recap: Grants Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Grants was not quite Miyamura's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Grants' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Roberto Arredondo, who's now up to two this season.

Grants' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Miyamura, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Grants will host Del Norte at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Norte's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Miyamura, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Valencia on the 30th.
