Softball Recap: Arvada West Takes a Loss

Arvada West managed to slip by Columbine the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Rebels on Tuesday, falling 16-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Arvada West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Farr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Arvada West's defeat dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Columbine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Arvada West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Ralston Valley on the 11th. As for Columbine, they have also already played their next game, a 14-0 victory against Bear Creek on the 11th.
