Basketball Recap: Beverly Hills Comes Up Short

The Beverly Hills Normans came up short against the Castaic Coyotes on Tuesday, falling 48-24.

Castaic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alana Clark led the charge by going 5 for 7 to rack up 15 points and three blocks. The dominant performance also gave Clark a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (80%). Kahlia Tyndall was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 15 boards.

Beverly Hills now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Castaic, their victory bumped their record up to 7-18.

Beverly Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-34 defeat against Centennial on the 5th. As for Castaic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-21 loss against Saugus on the 5th.
