Basketball Game Preview: Cloverdale Eagles vs. Fort Bragg Timberwolves

The Cloverdale Eagles will head out to face off against the Fort Bragg Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cloverdale comes in on three and Fort Bragg on four.

Cloverdale is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Clear Lake with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 66-47. The Eagles pushed the score to 57-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals cut but never quite recovered from.

Amara Galvan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emme Reasoner, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Fort Bragg hadn't done well against Middletown recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Fort Bragg managed a 52-48 win over Middletown. 52 seems to be a good number for the Timberwolves as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

The win got Fort Bragg back to even at 11-11. As for Cloverdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Cloverdale strolled past Fort Bragg in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 47-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cloverdale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
