Snow Hill dropped down to 3-2 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 50-14 defeat at the hands of the Decatur Seahawks. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Seahawks are ranked 21st).

Snow Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaydon Boulware, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Waters, who rushed for 112 yards on only six carries.

As for Decatur, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Decatur's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Johnny Hobgood, who threw for 114 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Kyle Mumford was in the mix as well, providing the Seahawks with two scores.

Coming up, Snow Hill will square off against Colonel Richardson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Decatur, they will face off against Bennett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
