Softball Recap: Sioux City North Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Sioux City North's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm Lake Tornadoes on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Stars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sioux City North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Storm Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Sioux City North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Newell-Fonda on the 27th. Storm Lake has also already played their next contest (against Denison-Schleswig), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
