Klein Cain is 6-1 against Klein Forest since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hurricanes will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Klein Cain came up short against Magnolia and fell 31-24.

Despite the defeat, Klein Cain got top-tier performance from Zach Johnson, who threw for 427 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. Cooper Karns also helped out as he racked up 106 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 67 points the game before, Klein Forest was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Magnolia and fell 50-6. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 380th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 65th).

Klein Cain will need to focus on slowing down James Robinson, one of several Klein Forest players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 223 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 49 yards. 106 of Robinson's passing yards were hauled in by Kevin Davis.

Klein Forest dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Klein Cain, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Klein Cain was able to grind out a solid victory over Klein Forest in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 16-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
