Baseball Recap: The Grace Christian Academy Makes It Six in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The Grace Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS a 4-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Thursday.

Dallas King looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Preston Fransico, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.

The Grace Christian Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.
