Football Recap: Valley Falls Takes a Loss

Valley Falls extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They came up short against the Onaga Buffaloes, falling 32-6. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly 26 points.

As for Onaga, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Among those leading the charge was Ryder Kolterman, who rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Gavin Kolterman was in the mix as well, providing Onaga with two TDs.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Falls will host McLouth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Onaga, they will be playing at home against Jefferson County North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' defense has only allowed three points per game this season, so the Buffaloes' offense will have their work cut out for them.
