Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

After flying high against The Academy - San Francisco last Thursday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The contest between the Lincoln Mustangs and the Lowell Cardinals didn't end well, with the Lincoln Mustangs falling 63-48. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-21 back in January.

Lincoln suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-5. As for Lowell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will challenge Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lowell, they will take on The Academy - San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
