Basketball Recap: Granada's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Granada blew Edison out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Edison got their revenge. The Matadors fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 61-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Matadors have suffered since December 17, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Granada fell to 3-1. As for Edison, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Granada will head out to take on Ygnacio Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Matadors will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 75.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Edison, they will take on College Park in a tournament on Thursday. The Vikings' defense better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 65 points per game this season.
