Softball Recap: Booker T. Washington Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington's last matchup with Bishop Kelley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Hornets came up short against the Comets, falling 14-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in August.

This is the second loss in a row for Booker T. Washington and nudges their season record down to 5-15. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Bishop Kelley, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Booker T. Washington will be playing at home against Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop Kelley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pryor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
