Ben Summers posted a new career-low in hits on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over 5.2 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Freeport is 2-1 when Summers posts eight or more strikeouts, but 13-16 otherwise.
