Softball Recap: Walker Has No Trouble Against Coosa

Walker got themselves on the board against Coosa on Thursday, but Coosa never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-1 on Monday.

Reese Dege was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Dylan Koppel, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs.

Walker was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. The last time their batting average was this high was back in September of 2024.

Walker now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Coosa, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walker will take on Darlington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coosa, they will face off against Southeast Whitfield County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
