Basketball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Susquehannock Warriors, falling 59-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-28 back in January.

Susquehannock was led to victory by Elena Snyder and Johannah Bissett. Snyder posted 12 points along with seven assists and six rebounds, while Bissett went 6 for 9 en route to 16 points. Snyder has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Annie Laubach, who earned eight points.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Susquehannock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dover has already played their next contest (against Northern York), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Susquehannock has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Bermudian Springs.
