Kayne Miller Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Calabasas's Kayne Miller, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Miller rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.6). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Calabasas is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. Miller and Calabasas will face off against Rio Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

He has become a key player for Thousand Oaks: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 250 passing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

This year, Taylor has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 245.4 passing yards per game.

Brady Smigiel's Big Game Leads Newbury Park over Westlake

Newbury Park picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brady Smigiel. Smigiel was unstoppable, throwing for 290 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. He has been hot , having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

Newbury Park pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Smigiel and Newbury Park will challenge Thousand Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

This season, Rosenthal has caught 16 touchdowns while averaging 117.1 receiving yards per game.

The win (which was Rio Mesa's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Bittner and Rio Mesa will face off against Calabasas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
