Soccer Recap: Robert F. Kennedy Community Triumphs

After failing to score in their last match, Robert F. Kennedy Community made sure to put some goals up on the board against Belmont on Wednesday. They never let the Belmont Sentinels onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Bobcats' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Belmont with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abigail Rivera (2), Katia Garcia, and Ashley Murillo.

Robert F. Kennedy Community's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Belmont, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robert F. Kennedy Community will take on Contreras at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Belmont, they will square off against Roybal at 4:00 p.m. on January 29th. Roybal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.3 goals per game this season.
