Baseball Recap: Mundy's Mill Takes a Loss

Mundy's Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Northside Patriots, falling 21-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-1 loss on Thursday.

Mundy's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Northside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Mundy's Mill Tigers face off against Lovejoy Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northside, they will head out to take on Starr's Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Northside 3.2, Starr's Mill 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
