Football Game Preview: Clarksville Indians vs. Colo-NESCO Royals

The Clarksville Indians will head out on the road to take on the Colo-NESCO Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Clarksville's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They strolled past Meskwaki Settlement with points to spare, taking the game 17-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colo-NESCO). They walked away with a 48-40 win over North Tama on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Royals needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The victory got Colo-NESCO back to even at 2-2. As for Clarksville, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Clarksville took a serious blow against Colo-NESCO in their previous meeting back in August of 2015, falling 82-16. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
