Baseball Recap: Lakeside Takes a Loss

The Lakeside Panthers lost 11-1 to the Habersham Central Raiders on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Scherer, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Scherer a new career-high.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Habersham Central, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

While Lakeside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
