Soccer Recap: Calaveras Finishes Even with Rio Linda

While Calaveras's fans didn't get a definitive result on Thursday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and the Rio Linda Knights finished up their game with a 2-2 draw.

Kendra McGee and Kassidy Palmberg scored both of Calaveras' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Calaveras' draw gives them a new season record of 4-3-4. Meanwhile, Rio Linda's record is now 5-6-3.

Calaveras will head out on the road to challenge Bret Harte at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calaveras is facing Bret Harte at the right time seeing as Bret Harte is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Rio Linda has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Grant on the 3rd.
