Basketball Recap: CORE Butte Comes Up Short

CORE Butte lost against Central Valley back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The CORE Butte Lynx took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Valley Falcons.

CORE Butte's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Central Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

CORE Butte won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oroville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oroville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Central Valley, they will take on Gridley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
