Football Recap: Cherokee Warriors vs. Sequoyah Chiefs
Cherokee extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They were beaten by the Sequoyah Chiefs 61-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Chiefs are ranked 22nd).

Cherokee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 40-23 victory against Pope on the 29th. As for Sequoyah, they have also already played their next contest, a 37-6 win against Kell on the 29th.
