Volleyball Recap: Sandwich Takes a Loss

Sandwich lost against Richmond-Burton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Rockets.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-8.

Mikayla Brain paced Sandwich's offense, picking up two kills. Brain got some help from Khloe White and her five assists.

Sandwich has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. As for Richmond-Burton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-6.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Sandwich and Parkview Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond-Burton, they will venture away from home to take on Lake Zurich at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
