Football Recap: Jonah Williamson and Owen Gardner Secure Win for Trinity + How To Watch

A well-balanced attack led Trinity over Chartiers Valley in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Hillers were the clear victors by a 42-18 margin over the Colts. The win continues a trend for the Hillers in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won four in a row.

Leading Trinity to victory were Owen Gardner and Jonah Williamson. Gardner rushed for 222 yards on only 15 carries, while Williamson rushed for 163 yards on only 14 carries. Williamson's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Daniel Glass got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Trinity was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 388 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 171 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.

Trinity didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ben Priest, Glass, and Tyler Welsh picked up one apiece. Glass got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got Trinity back to even at 4-4. As for Chartiers Valley, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
