Soccer Recap: Mountain View Find Success

Mountain View kept a clean sheet against Santa Clara on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Santa Clara Bruins 1-0. The Spartans' winning goal came courtesy of Alex Markova.

Mountain View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Santa Clara, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4-3.

Mountain View will head out on the road to challenge Palo Alto at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Santa Clara, they will welcome Los Gatos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
