Soccer Recap: Mt. Shasta Falls to Tulelake in First Game of Season

Mt. Shasta unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Tulelake Honkers on Thursday, falling 4-1. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Mt. Shasta it sure didn't stay that way.

Tulelake now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Mt. Shasta and Tulelake will both be playing Butte Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Honkers will head out to face the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
